1. Batley Rental Agreement

All vehicle rentals booked through Batley are governed by a detailed Rental Agreement provided at booking confirmation or at vehicle collection. The agreement sets out the terms, conditions, insurance cover, charges, and your responsibilities for the particular rental. If there is any conflict between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will prevail.

2. User Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from Batley, you must:

Be at least 21 years old for Batley hires (age limits may differ by vehicle type, with additional fees applicable for drivers under 25). Hold a full, valid driving licence appropriate to the vehicle category, held for the minimum period set out in the Rental Agreement. Provide valid photo identification and proof of address, plus a payment card in the main driver's name when collecting the vehicle.

3. Booking and Payment — Batley

Bookings can be made through our website, by phone, or in person at our Batley location. A booking deposit may be required to secure your reservation. 4. Vehicle Collection and Return (Batley)

When collecting a vehicle from Batley you must inspect it carefully and report any existing damage immediately. A vehicle condition report will be completed and signed by you and a Batley representative. Return the vehicle in the same condition as when collected, allowing for normal wear and tear. Any new damage found on return will be assessed and charged to the hirer in line with our fees.

5. Batley Insurance and Liability

Basic third-party insurance is included with all Batley rentals. Full coverage specifics and stated excess amounts appear in the Rental Agreement. You may be offered additional insurance options to lower your financial exposure. Review these choices carefully before accepting them. You are responsible for damage or loss up to the excess amount listed in the Rental Agreement.

6. Cancellation and Amendments

Cancellation and amendment policies at Batley depend on the booking type and required notice period. Consult your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement for the exact terms. Late cancellations or no-shows can incur charges.

7. Batley Restrictions

You must not use Batley’s rented vehicle for:

Any unlawful purpose or activity involving a Batley vehicle. Racing, rallying, off-roading, or other hazardous activities. Transporting hazardous or dangerous materials. Sub-letting to third parties or permitting unauthorized drivers. Operating while impaired by alcohol or drugs. Use for purposes for which the vehicle is not intended.

Violating these restrictions in Batley may result in immediate rental termination and additional charges.

8. Limits on Batley's Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by English and Welsh law, Batley will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, loss of data or loss of business arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the total fees you have paid to Batley for the relevant service in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim.

9. Applicable Law

These Terms apply to Batley and are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to Batley Terms

Batley may modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting on Batley's website. Your continued use of Batley's services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
